Cambridge University Students' Pro Bono Society Lectures
Cambridge UniversityThe Cambridge University Students' Pro Bono Society is an independent society run by and for Cambridge University students, registered and supported by the University of Cambridge Faculty of Law. The Society undertakes and supports legally- related volunteer work for the benefit of the community (pro bono public).
The Society also has a continuing tradition of hosting inspirational speakers to raise awareness of a broad range of issues. Previous speakers have included Kevin Laue of Redress who spoke about working with victims of torture-both UK and non-UK citizens and Rachel Robinson, who spoke about the new Legal Aid Bill.
